Agathon 255 CL CNC Centerless Grinder

This machine includes:  A. Automatic wheel balancing B. Rotary diamond dressing device, including the dressing disc C. Agathon concentric grinding attachment D. Paper band filter system  The machine supplied with a loading / unloading system that includes a Fanuc 6 axis 200 iB robot.  The Model 255 CL has a 10” diameter grinding wheel that is 5” wide.  The grinding spindle is powered by a 9 Kw (12 H.P.) motor.  The machine is fully CNC controlled, utilizing the Siemens 840D control.  The CNC control is used for the grinding wheel, regulating wheel, and dressing cycles.  1.    All motors are Siemens Digital Motors 2.    Machine can perform plunge, shoulder, and through feed grinding 3.    Grinding diameters can ran range from 0.5 to 15 mm 4.    CNC dressing of both the grinding and regulating wheel 5.    Grinding speeds up to 63 m/ sec (12,400 ft/min) 6.    Grinding lengths of up to 125 mm when plunge grinding 7.    Siemens 840D CNC can be programmed via “G” Codes, DXF file, or conversationally  The CNC dressing system is unique and very precise. The CNC Dresser has been developed and patented by AGATHON. The AGATHON CNC Dresser assures straightness of less than 1 micron across plunge grinding lengths up to 127 mm.  Mfd: 2007, with only 100 hours of use. Â
